There are different types of winter jackets which are obviously warm and provides you with that perfect insulation during intense cold weather. Jackets are designed for use in intense winter condition, hooded jackets and long knee length jackets gives your overall body a perfect insulation.
The best in the list is the parka jacket, which is made out of synthetic waterproof and windproof fiber and fur padded inside for that extra warmth whenever needed. The new design and style on parka fashion have really made it very popular worldwide. They are completely wind proof and comes with hoods with variable lengths from short slim fit design to long hip length jackets and not to forget the long knee length jackets. The quality of wool used for padding and the quality of material used makes it different in quality as well as price. The second comes the old classic leather jackets, which is still very trending with those cocktail mix of fibers, you get access to new trending leather cocktail jackets. Some comes with hoods some without it, some have coat like formal design and some give you that rough street fashion look. Leather jackets are always loved during autumn winter season and bikers love them too with denim outwear. However, I would always advise layering your clothing, especially when needing to look presentable in a corporate environment. Business formal Layering a scarf, sweater and a tweed wool jacket are for managers and executives. Tweed wool is my choice for business formal as it’s more known to be worn by older gentlemen. Most older gentlemen are usually the guys who run the office. So it takes the spot for business formal. Most tweed fabrics have been twilled for a thicker and heavier fabric. If it’ still cold, I would suggest layering a scarf underneath. If still cold add a sweater underneath. Business casual Sweaters and Peacoats for managers and top executives and people in any traditional profession (lawyers, accountants, bankers, sales people etc.) look great with these two pieces. I know peacoats/pea-jackets are technically coats but it can be worn as a jacket if it’s very cold. They can be worn more dressier as they’re double breasted. It’s made from thicker fabric (most wool) and takes more fabric to make to insulate the body heat. Smart casual This is where it gets tricky because it’s basically a blend of business formal with casual touches. It’s to make someone look casual but still portraying oneself to be take seriously. Casual Anything goes with casual dress codes. You see this worn by employees in US tech companies and non corporate offices that focus more on the creative side. A cardigan with a scarf is great. If you want to be very casual you can wear a hoodie. |
